March Reading Madness

Support your child's PWM Lending Library (located at the front of the school) by donating your gently used children's books to fill our shelves! Throughout the month of March, a donation box will be located in the front lobby of the school where children and parents can donate books (good condition only, please). You can also bring your books to the PTO Meeting (3/11), Science Saturday (3/14) or Montessori & Me Day (3/20). Thank you for supporting getting books in the hands of our kids!

Sign up to be a secret reader and surprise your child by appearing as a guest reader during their library class! Parent sign up is required through Sign Up Genius. Secret Reader spots are available for family members to participate between February 23–March 20. Reading will take place during the first 15 minutes of the class period. Parents are welcome to stay and observe after reading. Reserve your spot today!

Are you up for the March reading bingo challenge? Book Bingo cards will be sent home with students in February. Students who fill five challenges in the same row (any direction) can return their card by Thursday, March 19 and be entered to win a prize. If a card is lost you can download a new card from the PTO website. Reading can be done independently or with a family member or friend!

In March, Ms. Nicole will be reading through a bracket of books and asking students to vote on their favorite titles! By the end of the month we'll announce our March Reading Madness Champion Title!
